The Alligator Grill is a South Austin neighborhood restaurant and bar for all ages. Our Cajun cuisine will delight your taste buds and you can sip on an ice cold beer or Hurricane at the bar. Our outside deck will soon have a full service bar and be covered year round so you can enjoy the great Austin outdoors. The inside has a distinctive Louisiana feel with wooden floors and an alligator hanging from the ceiling. Join us for the University of Texas games shown on our huge 13' high definition screen. The Alligator Grill has been a South Austin fixture since 1994. We are a Cajun style restaurant and bar that caters to all ages. And while our employees don't wear flair, the movie Office Space was filmed here ("Oh, oh!"). We've also hosted some local big name talent from Malford Milligan to Ray Wylie Hubbard. And coming in 2006, we will be opening our outside deck with a new roof and a full service bar so that our guests may enjoy the great Austin outdoors year round. Finally, The Alligator Grill is the place to be on Fat Tuesday, with live music and plenty of crawfish. AIEEEEEEEEEE!
